What a fantastic video!

I really love the way the scenes match the music, especially the sharp cuts and zooms near the beginning.

I take it from your comment in "vidding" that you love [b]The Ditty Bops[/b]? All their music is great and so appropriate for "Wonderfalls"!

I went to your web site and checked out some of your other videos, and I have to say, you're one of the best vid-makers I've seen. You have a particular gift for perfectly matching the video clips to the music.

There's this one idea I've had stuck in my head for a long time:

It's a Buffy the Vampire Slayer video about the town of Sunnydale itself, set to the song Wicked Little Town from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

I lack the talent (and the software) to do it myself, but in the right hands, I think it could be a really great video.

(If you're not familiar with the song, I'd be happy to send it to you, so you can give it a listen and see what you think)

I have to admit that I don't know the song but it does sound interesting. Could you upload it to yousendit.com or something similar so that I can check it out.

I'll get back to you if I decide to put it on my to do list. If I do agree to make the vid it will probably be a while before I get to it because I have another two vids that I need to finish before starting a new project.

Ah, that's unfortunate, but thanks for considering it.

To me it seemed to reflect Sunnydale as almost a 'character' in the series, emphasizing the various things the town (and the other characters) went through because of the hellmouth...

Then again, maybe I'm just reading between the lines too much. :)

Anyway, thanks again, and please let me know if you were to decide to do it.

I usually make it a rule not to watch vids to things I haven't seen, but how could I turn down the Ditty Bops?

Wonderful Wonderfalls, gorgeous vid Charmax.

I have rambled some FB over at Reverie, but just wanted to let you know here how much I adore this vid, perfect music, glistening coins and the essence of the quirky, fantastic show all neatly condensed into your superb vid. I so need to watch the last few episodes I missed.

Yeah, I never usually announce vids like that because it could be done or it could be scrapped but this one I was not letting go of! I was working on this pretty much day and night and it was a lot of fun to do. Wonderfalls is such love. I'm glad you mentioned the intercutting and Jaye's "evil eyes" because I quite like that too. (Love your icon btw) :D Oh and the coin, it was a must!

Really great video. Loved it. The music was really in-theme with the video and the whole idea of the show.

It's a shame that such a great show has been cancelled. I did adore it. Poor timeslot and whatnot.

Anyway, thanks for that. Really enjoyable to watch.

I have to agree that the show should never have been axed particularly when you see the crap that gets renewed season after season.

Urghh I *hate* reality shows. They only showed 4 eps of Wonderfalls prime time in the UK then showed another few at about 1am before dropping it altogether which is a damn shame! They don't even sell it on dvd here.

As for friending - I don't update my lj very often but sure you can friend me.

Can't...stop...watching...icon...but anyways, I think the song fits really well with Wonderfalls and this vid. The editing was great as usual, and I particularly liked the clips around 1:36, I never would of thought that they would work together so well.

The slightly ethnic sound in the track made the clip choice easier at 1:36 but the intercutting with the lamp was a late addition. I think it works quite well. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid.
