Me, myself & I

My neighbour's smoke alarm has been going solidly for 48hrs and it's driving me nuts. He is in hospital and no one will do anything about switching the damn thing off. Arghhhh. It's fitted to the mains electricity so at the moment there is no hope in sight. The bloody council! It should be their job to sort it out as he's their tenant but they won't get off their arses to do anything about it, even after 3 phone calls. Maybe I'm not assertive enough or maybe they're too lazy. WTF?!

Has anyone seen that Brit show "Grumpy old women"? That's what I've become.

Ends in 13 hours! halcyon_shift has put a big ol' clock up for folks like me that can't tell the time. Get bidding! Lot's of Ho's are waiting to do just what you want.

My computer hates me. Seriously. I reformatted 1 of my eternal hard drives only about 3 weeks ago and because it was the best out of the 2 externals I decided that was the one where I should back-up all of my vid projects trimmed files to. Oh what a mistake that was! It's cost me dearly. Saved projects, tutorials, digital juice files - gone. Thank ---- I have the master AVI's. RIP drive you have served me well. I do wish you had given me some warning you were ill though, and then I might have been able to help... or at least taken the burden of my files from you.

Damn.

ETA: I think I jinxed it by mentioning the vid yesterday...

Changing servers - why oh why do they make it so difficult?!

There is some major problem with Bronze Ambition.  I don't know whether it is something to do with my server or if it's a problem with the wordpress script. Either way the site is screwed. The only vids that are available for the time being are the ones I have linked here on LJ.

ETA: It's fixed! One of the tables in MySQL had "crashed"
