It's sign-up time for the last ever Sweet Charity auction. The bidding begins March 28 until March 31. If you don't already know, Sweet Charity is a fandom auction, run by the incredibly generous halcyon_shift, that has raised a massive $70,000+ over 7 rounds for RAINN and various other charities. Half a Moon is a fourteen day challenge celebrating female characters in fandom, which will run from February 1 through Valentine's Day. Fanfiction, vids, recs, art, picspam, icons, meta, fanmixes, and outside links to content fitting the theme of this community are all welcome--the only rule is that the primary focus must be on a female character or characters.

I haven't pimped this yet so I am now pimping it mightily! VidUKon is a brand new Vidding con being held in the UK and set up by the fantastic halcyon_shift. It will run from the 24th Oct to the 26th Oct in Milton Keynes and will have everything from panels, vidshows tea and cakes. It should be a great weekend to meet all your fannish friends to talk/watch vids. I won't be going myself this year, unfortunately, but I am seriously hoping there will be enough numbers to make it viable for next as I really want to go. So this is where I pimp - you all need to go sign up! It'll be fun! Come take a holiday in Britain!

You know I said I was really busy with the club vivid vids? Well I am, but I have been suckered back into Reverie after months. The place has me completely hooked again and it's even got me feeling creative enough to open Photoshop! Bloody hell! Although I am back on there, and it's great, I will not be neglecting LJ and you lot.  I don't post that often here on *my* journal but I still consider it my main place.
