Notes:
I am still on my remastering spree, wheee! (As well as working on my sweet charity vid of course) The main difference between this and the old version is DVD source. Yay. I've also put in a couple of extra clips, chopped the rhythm up a little more, refined the titles and added a touch more external motion. Shiny.

Episodic videos can be quite tricky to edit because clip choice is quite limited and there aren't the sweeping camera shots or epic panoramic views of a movie. So, with what was available to me I think it works. I am happy anyway. :)

I have posted these recs elsewhere but I thought I may as well post them in my own LJ too.
My comments are sometimes a bit brusque and a bit shallow but that's what you get from reccing all those vids in a spate of 1 or 2 sessions. The vids that I list are from a wide variety of fandoms. I love to watch more or less everything and my taste in style and music is not limited. *grin*

If there are grammatical errors sorry. My brain is like mush.

Midnight Lair is closing next Sunday after 14 months. It's a sad time because it was a really great place to be. Before Sassy and myself decided to embark on the challenge of running a forum I never really got involved much with the wider fandom community, I would more or less stick to doing my own thing at Bronze Ambition. It's a shame to see what we built up go after so long. I made many friends at Midnight Lair and learnt so much from other people. My video editing and my art progressed because the passion that everyone else felt about their own work would rub off on me. It gave me the drive to improve. It was a constant learning curve. Things were getting difficult and time was an issue plus the costs. That is why it had to close. All good things must come to an end...

So here I am trying my hand at live journal. I am not a big poster but it will allow me to keep in touch with people and the many videos people are making!
Also when I have a new video or make wallpapers etc I will post them here.
